Paul J.'s Story

September 2017 I'm looking forward to seeing you at our 35th class reunion Monticello Mn. 23 September 2017 3 PM at Ellison Park Monticello MN for pot luck. After Ellison park, we will be going to the Friendly Buffalo bar and restaurant in Big Lake. The Diamondback Band will be featured with no cover charge. We hope to see you there. July 2013 I have finally retired from the Army after 30 years of service. I plan to move back to Minnesota as soon as I sell my lake home at my last duty station. May 2007 Returned from IRAQ in May 07, with the 423rd Gun Truck Company. All Souls came home with us, 18 recieved the Purple Heart for their injuries in combat. I serveded as the Headquarters Platoon Leader. My last promotion was in June 2005 to Chief Warrant Officer (CW2). After a long 3 year separation from family I am looking forward to some overdue vacation this summer. I really enjoyed seeing many of you at the 25th reunion. I wish more ...Expand for more
of us could have made it. Rebecca and I are looking forward to attending her 25th in August 08. My 1st Lady, Rebecca (Lott) and I just bought a cabin on lake MINA 12 miles east of Aberdeen SD. We hope to retire back to Minnesota as snow birds in the next couple years. Can't believe I've gave the Army 25 years already. We have 4 wonderful kids. Amanda is in going to college in San Diego after serving 4 years in the Navy as navigator for the USS Rushmore. Anthony is in Germany getting ready to deploy to Iraq. He anounced his plans to marry a nice gal from St Cloud over Xmas... Really happy for them. Jonathan graduate HS this year and plans to go to college in Tuscon, AZ. He is head of his robotics team and has won 5 of 6 tournaments as of March 08. Olivia is a Junior in HS and aspires to the culinary arts. We are really proud of our kids. Had everyone home for Xmas in 07... that was best gift ever. God Bless. Paul and Rebecca Hogie
